ANA Point Of Numismatic Light Award

When you post to your blog, you never really know if anyone out there is reading it.  Sure, I’ve got a basic hit counter and a few statistics that get logged about visitors for me to check out, but I sometimes feel like I’m posting into cyberspace to an audience of one.

Then, sometime remarkable happened.  I still don’t know how it came to be, and my first thought was “I don’t know what they think I did, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t do it …

I can’t even begin to tell you how much of a shock receiving this was.  All I can say is thank you to all of you for your support and continuing patronage of my little coin-nerd site.  I’m still humbled to have been noticed in the crowd, and this recognition has renewed my passion for maintaining this blog and sharing cool coins with my fellow #coinnerds and newbies alike!

Thank you!

  • Glad you got some recognition for your ANA/WIN efforts Amanda. 🙂

  • Congratulations!
I also appreciate your contributions, especially your recounting of coin shows and seminars that you’ve attended. I look forward to more of your ‘notes’ of future summer seminars.
I also look forward to meeting you one day at a future one, or at a show.

Keep up the great work, and your down-to-earth and accessible perspective.

  • There are probably more people reading your blog than you realise. Coin collectors are a moody and whimsical lot. You can see it in CT sometimes. It will be quiet for days at a time then all of sudden everyone will have something to say.

I think there are plenty of people especially in CT, who can’t go to major shows and appreciate reading your reports and looking at the cool pics even if they don’t say so.
